| คำอธิบาย | Microplastics (MPs) can be defined as small pieces of plastics that are less than five millimetres in diameter. MPs can be consumed and may be accumulated in animal and moves through the food chain. Although, the accumulation of plastic debris and MPs in marine ecosystems of Thai waters have been reported in numerous organisms. The accumulation of MPs in mussel may increase the potential risk for higher trophic levels. The effects of MPs to the mussels will provide the essential data that may be applied for developing the water quality criteria for MPs and for the risk assessment of MPs in coastal marine environment including the impacts of contaminated mussel to human health. |
