คำอธิบาย The results showed significantly different levels of protein expression between EF-treated and non-treated group, the EF-treated mice (0.8% and 3.2%) showed either increasing or decreasing protein expression and the increasing protein could have been due to the activation of biotransformation and antioxidant enzymes, such as Gpx4. Conversely, the decreasing protein such as Gsn inhibited apoptosis by stabilizing the mitochondria prior to cell death. No alteration of proteins involved in colon carcinogenesis were observed in EF-treated group, however, there were correlations between the expression of Myo5c in low dose of EF as well as Notch1 and Mybl2 in higher dose. Their properties to enhanced cell death and cell cycle arrest to protect initiation stage of colorectal carcinogenesis. In contrast, the promotion stage of colorectal carcinogenesis, the protein expression such as Cps1, Znf394 and Akap8l in low dose of EF as well as Pik3cb and Pklr in higher dose, decreased in cancer cell growth and metastasis were detected.
