คำอธิบาย | A simply and low-cost device was developed for determination of total cholesterol in blood sample. The device was based on microfluidic method that using online of separation and colorimetric monitoring. The colorimetric cholesterol reaction was performed between ferric chloride (FeCl3), and sulfuric acid (H2SO4) to obtain orange color. The developed device was designed by using silica gel coated on glass designed device (2.54 x 7.62 cm). The color intensity was detected as RGB systems by mean of RGB application on a smart phone. The linearity obtained from the graph plotted between concentration of cholesterol (0.00 to 2.80 mg·mL-1) and RGB signal was 0.9971. LOD and LOQ were 0.2943 and 0.9277 mg·mL-1, respectively. The device was validated with standard method on blood samples which they was enzymatic colorimetric reaction on spectrophotometric method. The developed device could be used as alternative method for screening total cholesterol in blood sample and taking care of human healthy and patient. |
